World Mental Health Day is celebrated annually on October 10 with the goal of educating and advocating against mental health stigma. 

And some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Hailey Bieber and new mom Katherine Schwarzenegger, offered their words of encouragement via social media on the important day.

Hailey, 23, who has been open about her own battle with anxiety, reminded her nearly 30million followers on Instagram to be ‘kind and sensitive’ to themselves and those around them.

‘We are all going through something, so let’s support each other instead of judge each other,’ wrote the 23-year-old model.

She then challenged her followers to ‘go out of [their] way to uplift others,’ especially ‘on social media where it’s easy to hide behind a screen and tear someone down.’

Bieber concluded her heartfelt post by saying that she is ‘sending every person reading this so much love,’ adding: ‘You are valuable, you are loved, and you matter.’  

In a follow-up post, Hailey used World Mental Health Day to encourage people to get out and vote in the upcoming United States Presidential election.

I have hope, but we need to collectively make the change we want for our future and that means getting out there to VOTE!!!’ captioned the daughter of Stephen Baldwin, who included two selfies.

‘And also [to be kind] to others, overall, today. And I think now more than ever that is such an important thing for us to do.
