WHAT DO TO
To smooth and tone your shoulders, try dolphin dives, says celebrity personal trainer Nadya Fairweather (u-shape.co.uk).
Start in a low plank position, draw the tummy button in, feet together, and legs straight and tight. Push your weight back allowing your bottom to go high (so your body forms an upturned ‘V’ shape) and your head to go through your arms.
Then shift your weight forwards, moving the bottom down and the head back to starting position.
Keep shifting your weight forward and back, engaging your core the entire time. And breathe! Try for as many as you can in 30 seconds then rest for 30 seconds. Go for three to five rounds.

WHAT TO EAT
Shoulders are usually the first part of our body to start aching, says nutritionist Shona Wilkinson (shonawilkinson.com), often due to poor posture or inflammation.
To keep them strong, try pineapple which contains an enzyme called bromelain that helps reduce inflammation and swelling.
As well as being a good source of protein, sardines are packed with omega-3 essential fatty acids which help reduce inflammation. Buy them in a can and eat them whole to get even more health benefits from their tiny bones.
Mushrooms are one of the very few foods that contain vitamin D.
We know this is vital for our bone health, so will keep our shoulders strong, too.
